With lightweight aluminum inner and hard wearing steel teeth, this dual composition sprocket gives you the best of both worlds: weight saving from aluminum, and durability from steel.At 48 teeth, this sprocket represents at 3 tooth increase from the stock 45 tooth sprocket on the KLX230 standard, KLX230S, KLX230SM and KLX230SE models. This means a 6.2% increase in torque from the stock set up. If you care about enduro, wheelies, or extra torque for pulling out of a corner, this set up renders a significant improvement.For the KLX230R and KLX230RS, the 48 tooth sprocket is two teeth up from Kawasaki’s stock gearing.Fits all KLX230 models.
